Ranita Singh-Gill

When Ranita’s kidneys failed unexpectedly at the end of 2015, she was almost at the point of requiring life support.

By March of 2016 she was told she would have 3 months to live unless she began dialysis immediately. And so began her journey to find a donor. In the meantime she got married to Sunny, the man who stood by her through her devastating diagnosis, and all the health crises that ensued. She was lucky enough to receive a kidney transplant on September 5, 2017, just because some great soul took the time to register to be an organ donor.
